Inner Peace / Innerer Frieden

Life is a big mystery that has to be sampled, not to be seen trough. There are many ways - right and wrong ones - and signposts. Though the signposts get dignified by he who has lost his way once. The more you try to understand and get to the bottom of the incidents that have happened , the less attention you'll pay to the beautiful things of life and the more you'll forget to be spontaneous, emotional and free. Because of the control over yourself you'll unlearn to act with your heart, to enjoy and to have fun. Often it's better to accept than to understand. Because only who disengages oneself enters the sphere of inner peace.

How true it is... / Wie wahr es doch ist...

The more I think about this statement, the merrior I'm impressed how true it is!

"Love me when I deserve it least, because then I need it most!"

"Liebe mich wenn ich es am wenigsten verdient habe, denn dann brauche ich es am meisten!"

Hello again!

After a very long time of abstinence I'm back again :-). I hope you're doing well and it'll be possible for me to be able to write more posts in the future! Today I've got a very nice citation for you:

(Ernst Ferstl)

"Türen öffnen Häuser und Räume, Zuneigung öffnet Menschen und Herzen."

Basil Pesto

Basil Pesto is made very fast and easy. It can be kept for a long time in a preserving jar, covered by a little layer of olive oil. Pesto is perfect if you need a very tasteful meal, also when guests will come and you don’t have enough time or you aren’t in the mood to do a lot. ;-)

For this delicious basil pesto you need:
1 bunch basil
100g pine nuts
70g parmesan cheese
3 cloves of garlic
125ml olive oil
Salt

Now you just have to fill all ingredients, except the salt, into a blender. You need to puree it until it has become a paste-like substance. In the end you season it with some salt.
To serve put it over hot noodles.

Palma de Mallorca, Spain

Palma is the capital city of Mallorca which is the biggest of the balearic islands. It’s a very lovely city with many historical buildings. I’ve been there about two weeks ago. Here are some pictures of my walk through Palma J Hope you like them!

Palma’s landmark the cathedral “la Seu”

This very interesting tree is placed  on the ‘Placa del Cort’ and more than 1000 years old.

Little helps to sleep during the day: sleeping masks

Today I’d like to present you these great sleeping masks from daydream. They help you to sleep during the day even if the sun is shining bright. The thing I love at these masks is that they’re colorful and printed. You can find many different designs on their website. In addition to the sleeping mask you get a cool pack which you can put into the mask to cool tired and swollen eyes.
I own two of those sleeping masks:

Sleeping mask "Bambi"

Sleeping mask "Liberty Classic"

The material of the masks is very soft and comfortable.

Click here to look at all the sleeping masks or to buy them J.

The Habit / Die Gewohnheit

Best summer drink

Today I wanna show you the recipe of a very refreshing non-alcoholic drink. I think this drink is the best summer drink ever! It’s neither too sweet nor too sour.
For the drink you need:
-          Lime
-          Brown cane sugar
-          Ice cubes made of orange juice
-          Passion fruit juice
-          Cherry juice
-          Decorating parts, for example an orange slice

First you have to cut the lime in eight pieces and as needed the orange into slices. In addition you need any cane sugar.

Then you take a glass in which you pour three pieces of limes and about one teaspoon of cane sugar. You can easily influence the taste of your summer drink: If you like it sweeter, take more cane sugar. If you like it sourer, take more limes. ;-)
After you have poured the limes and the cane sugar in the glass you have to mash the limes a bit. You can do this with a spoon or a pestle.

On top of the limes you add five ice cubes. Then you pour passion fruit juice into the glass until it has reached half of it.

At last only the cherry juice is still missing. You take a teaspoon, hold it over the glass and pour the cherry juice slowly over the back of the teaspoon.
Now you have finished and you can enjoy the summer drink! I hope you like it as much as I do :-).

The beginning

Finally here is my first post! :-) I’m so excited!

Last week I felt like sharing my impressions of life with other people. Therefore I asked myself: Why don’t you create your own blog? There exist so many different and wonderful blogs in the world wide web and each of those is something special. Why shouldn’t I try creating one as well? And know, not even a whole week later I just did it. :-)

So what is this blog about? Commonly this blog is about moments, emotions, impressions, dreams and love of life. In the future you’ll read many different posts. I love cooking, so you’ll discover a lot of recipes for sure. Another passion of mine is travelling around the world and I will share these experiences with you too. In addition you’ll find some posts about leisure time activities, sports and other things running through my mind. So basicly all posts have something to do with how you can enjoy life.

I hope you’ll enjoy reading my blog and visit it once in a while.
